Dog Training weekly Clubs – let’s have some fun!
At mypetstop we love to see dogs having fun, so in addition to all our training courses we also arrange clubs and shorter training courses where you and your dog can practice your skills, socialise with other dogs and dog owners, and choose from lots of activities. There’s something for every dog so take your pick!
Little Rascals Puppy Club 8-12 weeks (pre fully vaccinated) – Pay on the door (Saturday 9.30am -10.15am)
8 weeks is the beginning of the most sensitive period in puppy emotional development. This stage must be sensitively handled otherwise puppies can quickly learn to become fearful/aggressive/anxious or defensive. Gentle and controlled exposure to other puppies, people, noises, textures and experiences at this time is important.These sessions will help you at home with ongoing socialisation, so you can support your pup to deal with the world around them without fear or anxiety.
Puppy Play (Socialisation) Club 0-6 Months – Pay on the door (Saturday 11.30am to 12.15pm)
Puppy Play (Socialisation) Club 0-6 Months – Pay on the door (Sunday 11am to 11.45am)
Puppy Play (Socialisation) Club 0-6 Months – Pay on the door (Tuesday 6pm to 6.45pm)
Puppy Play (Socialisation) Club 6 – 12 Months – Pay on the door (Saturday 12.15pm to 1.00pm)
Play and socialising are very important for every Puppies development. Our Puppy Play socialisation club is designed to bring maximum fun for both you and your Puppy in a controlled environment. Your Puppy will be allowed off the lead to interact with other dogs of a similar age either in our inside enclosed arena or weather permitting in our outside fenced paddock area.
Adult Fun Agility Club 12+ Months – Pay on the door (Saturday 2.15pm to 3.45pm)
Puppy Fun Agility Club 0 – 12 Months – Pay on the door (Saturday 1.30pm to 2.15pm)
The club covers use of the agility equipment, contacts, speed, accuracy and handler trainer. It focuses on the fun rather than competitive agility and is great if you want a social fun activity with your dog or just want to get some practice in before your next competition. The Agility Club may take place in our outside paddock area so please bring suitable footwear e.g. Wellington Boots.
K9 Capers – Pay on the door (Saturday 4pm to 5pm)
A weekly socialisation club for puppies and adult dogs. Weekly club every Saturday in our indoor arena with our experienced dog trainer. This club covers socialisation on the lead with other pets and their owners which also covers, stays, recall, lead work, food manners etc.
Ringcraft Club – Pay on the door (Tuesday 7.15pm to 8.45pm)
This club is designed to help you practice the art of showing in the ring. Hopefully soon you’ll be competing at Crufts. Tea & Coffee also supplied.
K9 AllStars – Pay on the door (Thursday 6pm to 7pm) [From 26th October 2017]
An action packed hour of fun training. Incorporating lots of fun mental and physical activities for you and your dog to enjoy. This club is open to dogs and their handlers of all abilities.
Perfect Paws – Pay on the door (Monday 8pm to 9pm) [From 23rd October2017]
A fun dog obedience club for dogs of any age who have previously completed basic training, who would like to continue and improve but don’t want to commit to a course.
