History of mypetstop

'Triple A' opened in Washington, Tyne & Wear, in the 1980s, leading the way in pet boarding in the North East of England.

Fast forward a couple of decades (and jump across the country to the North West) and you'll find mypetstop Manchester opening its doors in Denton for the first time in 2003.

The following year, and a short trek over the Pennines, mypetstop Leeds welcomed pets to their centre in Tingley in 2004.

Then, three years later in 2007, 'Triple A' rebranded as mypetstop Washington, completing the triangle of pet boarding and care centres in the North of England, and cementing mypetstop as the number one choice for pet owners.

So, what's happened since then? Well, our famous Doggy Day Camp launched in all three mypetstop centres in 2007. You wouldn't believe how many tails have wagged since then!

And to bring things up to date, 2011 is the year that mypetstop Washington got its very own hydrotherapy pool, bringing it in line with our other two centres and giving customers yet another reason to book their dog in.

With fantastic facilities like hydrotherapy, you can see why we like to call it '5-Paw' Accommodation.
