Toy group
If you think you'll find a nice, sweet, shy little dog
among the Toy group, think again! Their size often belies
their personalities - and these tiny, power-packed bundles
are usually not the least bit shy about speaking up or
claiming their rights.
This is probably because many of them are descended from
Terrier group breeds. On top of that, some have been so
pampered as prized lap dogs and royal companions that they've
single-handedly changed the meaning of the phrase "it's
a dog's life!"
That said, Toy group dogs make tenaciously loyal and lovable
pets. And they're great for owners who live in small flats,
or those who can't exercise their pets much.
