Working group
When the first man befriended and tamed the first dog,
it was with the idea that his canine companion would help
him with his work. And this is how dogs were always seen
- as working dogs - until comparatively recently.
They were great hunters and guard dogs and were well known
for their valour and loyalty, as well as for being strong,
hard workers.
And even these days, Working group dogs are never happier
than when they are helping their owner. That's why you'll
often see them serving as Police or Search and Rescue dogs.
So if you think you can provide a Working group dog with
plenty of jobs, you'll have found a friend forever!
