Association of Dogs and Cats Homes invites Breed Rescues to Attend Conference
The Association of Dogs and Cats Homes (ADCH) is holding its annual conference on
16th and 17th April 2008 in Cheltenham. The conference aims to educate and inform
delegates on a broad range of topics. It is also a chance for Breed Rescues to
learn about the benefits of membership of the Association as well as giving the
opportunity to network and discuss ideas with other delegates.
The ADCH is a dog and cat welfare organisation which provides a communication
link between charities, and the conference is open to all Breed Rescue Societies.
The conference runs over 2 days and includes speakers from the Dogs Trust and Wood
Green Animal Shelters, with discussions ranging from customer interaction to canine
risk assessment. The Kennel Club is a member of the ADCH and regularly attends
conferences.
Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary said, "We really hope breed rescues will
attend the conference, as it provides a great opportunity for meeting other people
within animal welfare, and gives rescue charities the chance to learn about a number
of relevant subjects."
Petlog, the UK’s largest reunification database, will have a trade stand at the
conference and will be on hand to answer any questions relating to microchipping.
