Then your dog needs mypetstop® DOGGY DAY CAMP

mypetstop® is pleased to introduce doggy day camp – an exciting new play school for dogs at mypetstop in Manchester and at mypetstop® in Leeds from Spring 2007.  Doggy day camp is ideal for dogs whose owners are at work all day, or for the occasional times when owners have to be out for a few hours and don’t want to leave their dog home alone.

Doggy day camp provides play, exercise, stimulation and socialisation for dogs.  Each day at doggy day camp is structured to ensure a balance of activities to keep the dog’s mind and body active and quiet times to ensure the dogs relax.

A typical day at doggy day camp:
8am – Dogs begin arriving and catch up with their canine chums.
9am to 10am – Playtime.  A fun and exuberant session where dogs can play with the various toys provided, climb on the play fort and interact with each other and the doggy day camp team.
10am to 11am – Cuddles and fuss time.  A peaceful time where the dogs enjoy individual attention and TLC.
11am to 12noon – Quiet time.  Dogs are encouraged to have a break and a chance to settle in the relaxation zone.
12noon to 1pm – Lunch time.  Any dogs that have brought their lunch with them are fed separately for a peaceful leisurely lunch.
1pm to 3pm – Playtime.  After lunch has settled, the dogs resume their energetic and lively playtime session.
3pm to 4pm – Afternoon tea and treats
4pm to 5pm – Cuddles and fuss time.  An opportunity to relax after a fun filled afternoon.
5pm to 6pm – Play and pack ready to go home.  A more relaxed play time before the dogs go home.  Dogs go home tired after an action packed day with their friends.

Dogs attending doggy day camp must be well socialised and used to mixing with other dogs.  Dogs of all sizes and breeds are welcome to attend.  Prior to their first attendance owners must complete a questionnaire so the dog’s suitability for doggy day camp can be assessed.  Dogs can attend for a full day (8am – 6pm) or for a morning or afternoon.  Places are limited to ensure all dogs receive individual attention from the doggy day camp team.
